Cal EPIC (California Energy, Power, and Innovation Collaborative) and ZEMA (Zero Emission Marine Accelerator) have partnered to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission marine technologies by combining Cal EPIC’s state-of-the-art maker space, prototyping lab, and workforce development resources with ZEMA’s industry network and expertise in marine electrification.
Together, we support established companies, startups, manufacturers, educators, government agencies, utilities, ports, marinas, and investors through education, collaboration, demonstrations, workforce development, and technology commercialization. While our work is rooted in serving local and regional communities and businesses, this partnership is designed to foster innovation, accelerate commercialization, and build collaborations with global reach and impact.
